At Witt’s End by J.V. Caggiano ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really loved the world that the author created in the story At Witts End. A neighborhood of historical houses inhabited by artists and writers that meet daily for cake and to swap stories of their work and the neighborhood gossips.

I would classify this as a clean murder mystery as we are spared any gory or gruesome details however there is plenty of surprise and murder.

I felt like the second half of the book slowed down quite a bit in pace. After the surprise in the snow I would’ve expected chaos lots of happenings, it was all very calm considering.

The ending did have a classical mystery wrapup it would have been fun to see more of the characters playing out those scenes.

The plot twists are amazing, the ending deliver was more of a conversation between characters then a live account by the characters. This did however offer a very clear account at the end.

Overall this was a very comforting fun read I would recommend this book to those readers who love a mystery without the gore. Also a fun read for historical lovers as many of the older houses in historical Society situations arise in this particular story.

Thank you so much to the author J. V. Caggiano for suppling me with a copy of the book for my honest review. Best wishes!
