A very interesting and beautiful world with dragons and pink pools of water that hold secrets few know.

A handful of dragon blooded people searching for their true mates.

The main couple in this book, I love!! They are true to themselves eventually, both as individuals and stepping into their roller coaster partnership.

Heavy and descriptive on the spice - multiple partners, mistresses, life mates, soul bonds and a light peppering of Consensual non consent.

The story line was also very well established about 2/3 of the way into the story, the politics of their society are starting to show now.

The political problems are being exposed and running parallel to the mating and soul bonding of many characters at this time

Ending with an unexpected loss of a very pillar character, the scene has been set for book two - Dragon Blood.

Overall I definitely enjoyed this fantasy romance I did feel that it was very heavy on the Romance in the beginning but give it time in the fantasy as well as the political intrigue and plot twist do you unfold just a little bit later in the story.

I actually appreciated the author giving us time to fall in love with the characters individually and then again as a couple and then again individually as they were thrown back into their roles separately.

I would recommend this book to anybody who really loves a spicy romance with an enemies to lovers and may be a little bit Of not so vanilla spice.

If you are a lover of fantasy and girl power this may also be one for you because the princess in this story, doesn’t need saving.

I am looking forward to reading the second book Dragon Blood and hoping to see a bit more of this world they live in as well as the political structure that they have to function within.

Thank you to the author and the book tour @katieandbreypa For an e copy of the book in exchange for an honest review
