The story idea over all was a good one and left plenty of room for spice, however this story is meant to be dark and it accomplishes just that.

Following the beauty and the beast classic with a semi modern twist the main character finds herself in a very emotional and physically abusive “relationship”

the aim of the book no doubt was to be a spicy BDSM retelling of a classic however it very poorly represented a possible relationship dynamic heavy centering on abuse that can turn to love…

….at no time is the behavior corrected or explained to be wrong.

We get a back story at to why he felt the need but never the less he was abusive without a doubt.

2 stars for me on this one

the authors writing style was wonderful the story did have a good pace plenty of spice, however my opinion the abusive tones were to prevalent and in your face for me to enjoy the read.

Would instead suggest Katie Robert The Beast #4 in the wicked villian series
