Tales From the Park Land Ronald Mcgillvray
5 Star Horror/Thriller
This was my first read from Rondald Mcgillvray, I appreciate the familiarity of the authors writing style and consistent format. Each story starts directly off with a character description and a setting description, no info dumping in these short stories. Characters and outcomes are delivered slow and steady with slight rushes of suspense and scenarios that provoke thought and emotion for the reader.
I gave this book 5 stars...............
The two most thought provioking tales for me and the ones i gave 5 stars to as individual stories stand were
The Garbage Collectors
and....
Squealer
Tales From The Park Land offers readers the option of enjoying the short storys in small doses. Each short story sets a sober tone and will have your heart racing before the short and terrifing ends of each tale. However it is hard to enjoy only one account of horror as they are each a fun size slice of the novela that is follow.
Bonus Novella - Harmony
This is my introduction to Ronald Mcgillvray writting, each short work is a display of the authors real gifts in writing. Ceating each thought provicking and intrucive story in the short amount of time a "short story" allows and still building a dependable graphic and steady story flow, each with a balnce of infomration, descriptions, all wrapped up in a horrific very well played out sencario.
