A colorfully worded rough novel paintings a crude and yet possibility realistic picture for the time it is placed in. A quick moving and relatively short story, gives a dream like picture of a star coming to the rescue of the men fighting at arms, and all the drama that would follow two women in such a place and time.
I gave this book 2 stars as I was not sold on the logical set up or the way the scenarios played out. However the idea and the scenarios were entertaining in their own right.
Recommend to those whom like war and crime mysteries and lots of social drama.
