In the Garden of Spite Camilla Bruce

5 Star Review

am very excited for this read. I am definitely in my true crime error. This is my library book for the month of May and I am looking forward to reading and sharing my thoughts every five chapters in the spoiler blog but also look for the non-spoiler blog that will be both on the website and on YouTube, perhaps even some Instagram reels, I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Let me know if you found any great books lately. I’m sure you have. I’ve also included a link to @baileysarian story on belle enjoy :)Amazon Link for Book

It’s been a while since I read this book, but I watch a lot of murder mystery on YouTube and it seems like almost every single YouTuber has covered the widow of Laporte. The sad thing is when she finally got children that she always wanted she continue doing the naughty things and instead of those oranges poisoning the man that she was trying to she lost all of her children instead.

the start of this is so sad and unfair her mother is the only person to show her any compassion -

I feel so bad for her husband he is trying to give her everything she wants but nothing is good enough for her, she angry with him for being kind to her?

Food hoarding, lack of a baby, and the loss of violence in her home has her reeling and that poor man is along for the ride not knowing any of what she is thinking or feeling.

Who is the dead lady James sent for her to bury, how is that a fair trade for adopting children.

What the heck is happening?

This is a dumpster fire I can’t turn away from, so many things I didn’t see coming just progressively getting more and more dark in the outcomes.

I gave this book 5 stars not only is it based on a true story, but the motives and plot twist kept me emotionally invested until the very end, will read again.
