Once in a Blue Moon

Well that was a nice day dream sort of romance, staring off as any parents worst nightmare. Not only is one of the characters regaining a place in society but also her right to motherhood.

If that isn’t enough she also had to fighting her way through theses fictional men that always appear out of thin air ready to take responsibility and help.

The spice was adult but would say about a two on the spice:

A very emotional and relatable read, even if one has not been in a situation of a child being removed from a home.

The writer paints a very vivid picture of the physical and social struggles of the mother, child and ultimately a whole broken family trying to piece it all together really for the first time.

I enjoyed the story however it was more anxiety I felt throughout.

I also found the romance in the story to be to unlikely to be real, but I did find it to be a nice mix of one of my worst parenting fears mixed with a little adult daydreaming.
